This is Maidstone's">Maidstone's Original Beer and Hop Picking Festival. It's held at Kent Life in Maidstone. Kent Life has the country's last working coal fired Oast House which is used to prepare the hops for what will be next years beer. We will be able to see how the hops are harvested and processed. The cost is £7.00 plus you get a free pint of beer!! It would be good if everyone brought a picnic with them and it's Carol's birthday the following day and we can help her to celebrate it by starting early!! The correct time of meeting is still to be decided.
