About the Artist
Born in Middlesbrough in 1977, Ben Frais moved to
Leeds
in 1984. After studying at
Allerton
High School
he continued his studies at the
University
of
Northumbria
at
Newcastle
. After extensive travel and a working life in London he currently resides in
North Leeds
. His paintings are imaginative, abstract and contemporary versions of his experiences and inspirations. Ben currently focuses on acrylics and has further developed and manipulated his style to suit the varying themes his work entails.In the short space of time that Ben has been exhibiting there has been a tremendous response to his work. Exhibitions across the North of and extensive private commissions are proof of his popularity and longevity in the arts world.
